Through our 8 step Functional Medicine program we explore and rebalance your gut health, immune system, stress levels, hormones, sleep health, diet, exercise routine, and relaxation process. We adjust as necessary, first with natural approaches, supplements (iV and by mouth) and at times, if needed, can add medication.

Gut and Immunity

We start with the gut because gut health can truly effect almost all parts of your body. % of your immune system is in your gut . % of what effects neurotransmitters lie in your gut. Your gut protects you from harmful exposure to...  If your gut is not balanced, if the walls are leaky, your mental, physical health is comprimised. **add autoimmune etc.

This program involves initial functional testing and food sensitivity testing. Then we dive into evidence based protocols to repair and rebalance the gut.

Stress 

We all seem to live in fight or flight more than we should. What used to be a protective measure for fighting off lions or true emergiencies, many of our bodies and minds now jump into flight or flight mode for non life threatning reasons ,such as running late for work, balancing parenting with work, or having a etc. etc.

When we are stressed, we release a hormone called cortisol. Once calmed, these levels typically go down and all resumes back to normal. However, many stay in a constant state of stress and high cortisol levels. There's only so much in the cortisol tank and eventually the body will create a maladaption to cortisol and bottom out. This can lower energy levels throughout the day (ever start to feel really tired around 2/3 pm), can cause depression, and even feelings of giving up completely.

This step starts with specialized lab testing, and then we approach rebalancing through evidence based research.

Hormones are...    Just a small misalignment or off can effect so many processes in the body and how you feel. Thyroid, female sex hormones (estrogen, progesterone, testosterone), male sex hormones (testosterone, estrogen)

During this step we start with specialized testing to see where your hormones are currently. We then start with a through detailed history and with natural approaches and evidence based research, we rebalance. There are also options to reblance and optimize hormone levels through bio-identical hormone replacement.

How are you sleeping? Are you having any trouble falling asleep or staying asleep? Do you wake up in the middle of the night? Wake up very early? Do you have trouble with racing or rumminating thoughts?

Food is medicine. Food is the fuel our body needs to do most anything. The food choices that we put into our body can effect our mood, our energy levels, our immune system, our hormone levels,  the way our bodies function, and our risk for chronic illness and cancer.

Diet's don't always have to be boring, untastey or stressful. We can help get you on the path to an enjoyable relationship with food choices that optimize your body functions and help you to feel your best.

Exercise is so important to your health. Let us help you do it efficiently and effectively.  Exercise is not all about overexerting yourself and spending hours in the gym or on the treadmill each day. Our program, backed by science and evidence based research, optimizes each workout so you can see optimal results just from 3 days a week. We are trained in Manno Hanselmans, Les Mills, and post-partum and will help you optimize your
